Full dress rehearsal took place on Tuesday for the main function to be held in Police Line on Republic Day. During this, SP Dehat Palas Bansal as IG and CO LIU Yogendra Malik attended the rehearsal as chief guest Sandeep Singh and saw the nuances. The flag hoisting rehearsal was done under the supervision of SSP Kalanidhi Naithani.
Let us tell you that every year on 26 January, Republic Day celebrations are celebrated as the main event in Police Line. This time state minister Sandeep Singh will be the chief guest in this event. The event was rehearsed on Tuesday. Events were completed on the basis of minute to minute program and sound system, parade, flag hoisting were also rehearsed for 90 policemen for their good work, honor symbol given by the President, excellent, excellent service medal awardees. Here, SSP Kalanidhi Naithani said that a multipurpose cultural hall has been completed in the Police Line Ground. In this, along with departmental events, families of policemen will also be able to organize their own events.
SI Nepal Singh will get the President’s Medal
The honor list issued from the state level is expected to come by Wednesday. On the other hand, SI Nepal Singh, posted in the police line, will be awarded the President’s Medal for meritorious services.
Alert in view of security in the city
In view of the security arrangements in the city on Republic Day, the checking campaign has been started amid the alerts issued from Monday night. SP City Kuldeep Singh said that the Civil Lines Police has launched a checking campaign at the railway station and hotels around it. The Gandhi Park Police conducted a checking campaign at the bus stand as well as the hotels located around it. Hotel operators are instructed to enter the complete details of the passengers staying and also take the documents. Apart from this, special checking campaign is going on across the city.
