NCC cadets raised religious slogans on the campus on the occasion of Republic Day at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). AMU alumnus and BJP leader has complained about the matter by tweeting.

Some NCC cadets chanted AMU Zindabad along with religious slogan, Nara-e-Takveer Allah Hu Akbar at AMU campus on Republic Day. A video of this came on social media, then AMU alumnus and BJP leader Dr. Nishit Sharma has complained on Twitter tagging Aligarh Police and SSP Kalanidhi Naithani.

BJP leader Dr. Nishit Sharma has said in his complaint that war slogans have been raised inside the Aligarh Muslim University campus on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day. Kindly take necessary action by taking cognizance. He told that talks are going on with the police in the matter.

On the video, AMU Proctor Mohammad Wasim Ali said that the students are being identified, legal action will be taken after identification. Responding to the complaint on Twitter, Aligarh Police has said in a tweet that talks were held with the AMU administration for necessary action.
