On the evening of March 7, he broke the chain from the neck of a woman who was returning with milk at Nagla Haveli. Since then the police was looking for him, after getting the clue, he was caught. He told the police that he indulges in robbery as a hobby. The salary was halved during the lockdown. The police have recovered the looted chain, bike and cash from him. He told the police that he used to sell the chain to Sanju Verma Swarnakar after the robbery. Police is looking for Saraf.
Will be questioned on remand
The DPC told that Abhishek Ojha was doing incidents of chain snatching alone for three years. Where and when did he loot? To unveil the incidents of looting, the accused will be interrogated on custodial remand. Other information about him is also being collected.
