On Thursday, 554 youths who passed Agniveer recruitment were called to the army recruitment office located in the cantonment. In this, 385 youths reached the army recruitment office. During this the certificates of the youths were checked and they were directed to get the certificates verified from the DM office. On the other hand, the youth who did not reach on Thursday have been given a chance till Friday.
Rishi Dubey, director of the Army Recruitment Office, said that after verification of the certificates of all the youths from the DM office, the certificates would be re-examined on Monday. After this the candidates will be informed about the new reporting date. A total of 554 candidates from Purvanchal have been successful in the examination of Agniveer. Youths from Varanasi, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Bhadohi, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Ballia, Mau, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Deoria had participated for army recruitment.
