3505 candidates from Bansgaon and Chauri Chaura tehsils of Gorakhpur were called at Ranbankure Maidan at 6 am in the Agniveer selection recruitment which lasted till December 6. In which only 2300 candidates from both the tehsils participated in the race. 300 candidates crossed the first hurdle. In view of the crowd of Agniveer Sena recruitment candidates in the cantonment area, the security system has been tightened. Policemen have been deployed at various places from Cantt station to Ranbankure Maidan.
On the first day, 300 successful candidates were screened out and the documents were verified. Prior to this, the candidates had to go through admit card, strength medicine, length booth in the field. Apart from this, a separate physical efficiency booth was made.
According to the Army Recruiting Office, the selection recruitment process is being done under CCTV surveillance. Along with Army Intelligence, there is Local Intelligence Unit, Commissionerate Police and STF Alert. Immediate action will be taken against those who do any kind of disturbance. Candidates are requested not to fall in the trap of anyone.
A batch of 200-200 candidates has been made for the race in Agniveer Sena Recruitment. Only 20 to 25 candidates are getting successful in each batch. On the other hand, the successful candidates are being made to sit on the other side of the ground for verification of other documents. Document verification is possible through the scanning system. At the same time, a help desk has also been set up by the army office to help the candidates around the Ranbankure ground.
From morning till night, the order of reaching the candidates at Cantt station and City station, Banaras station continues. Apart from this, candidates are also reaching Cantt Roadways Bus Station by buses. The roadways outpost has been put on alert mode.
