‘Agni Panchak’ is being observed from today i.e. November 29, Tuesday. According to astrology, Panchak is not considered to be an auspicious constellation and Panchak is considered to be a combination of inauspicious constellations.
According to the Panchang, there are a total of 5 days in every month, which are considered inauspicious. It is believed that the side effects of the work done during Panchak increases five times. Many types of crisis can come in the life of the person. Let us know since when the Agni Panchak is being felt and what things should be avoided during these days.
According to the scriptures, the Panchak which starts from Tuesday is called Agni Panchak. In fact, there are a total of 27 constellations in the Nakshatra Chakra, out of which the last five Nakshatras, Dhanishtha, Shatabhisha, Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada and Revati are considered to be malefic. When Moon transits in Aquarius and Pisces, then the cycle is called Panchak. There is a need to be especially careful in these 5 days.

According to Panchang, Agni Panchak is starting on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 7.51 pm. It will end on the next fifth day i.e. Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 6.16 pm. Do not do any auspicious work in these five days even by mistake.
Do not do these things during ‘Agni Panchak’
- If someone dies during this time, then their last rites should be performed only after taking the advice of the priest. There is a religious belief that there is a possibility of death of five people in the family during this period. So the priests perform the last rites in different ways for the safety of other family members.
- No Manglik work is valid during ‘Agni Panchak’.
- Wood or wood related items are not purchased during Panchak.
- Traveling in the south direction during Panchak is considered inauspicious because, it is the direction of Lord Yamraj (the god of death).
- Do not construct or renovate the roof of your house during Panchak.
