Solapur: A major accident took place while returning from Tirupati Balaji in Andhra Pradesh. Four people of Solapur died in this car accident. Five people have also been injured in this horrific accident. The accident happened near Chandragiri near Tirupati on Tuesday (January 25) evening when the car hit the divider.
All those who died and got injured in this accident are residents of Solapur. The names of the dead and injured have not yet been officially released. All the 9 people had gone for darshan of Tirupati Balaji in Tavera car number MH 13 PH 9701. After darshan everyone left for Solapur.

But, after coming out of Tirupati, the Tavera car suddenly hit the divider on the Nayudupet-Puthalapattu road near Chandragiri. Due to the high speed of the car, four people died on the spot. At the same time, five others have been injured. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital by the local police.
DSP Narsappa Ruya reached the hospital as soon as he got information about this horrific accident. A case was registered at Chandragiri police station. An investigation and inquiry is underway into how and why the accident happened.
