Pune: An MBBS student was thrashed, stripped and looted by three men on the outskirts of Baramati town in Pune district in Maharashtra. The police gave this information on Wednesday. Police said that all the accused have been arrested.
The incident took place on Sunday evening when the 21-year-old student was going from his hostel to a market in Baramati, an official said. Baramati police officer said, “A person came on a motorcycle and snatched Rs 15,000 from the student while abusing him. When the student tried to protest, he started fighting.

Later, two more youths on a motorcycle reached there, he said. They forced the student to walk with them to the sugarcane field, where they stripped him of his clothes and beat him up. After this they fled. However, the student noted down the registration number of one of the two motorcycles and approached the police. Police registered a case and arrested all the accused.(Agency)
