In front of the equestrian statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj located at Kranti Chowk, a protest (Demonstration) was organized under the leadership of City President Sharek Naqshbandi. On this occasion, the workers raised slogans against the Governor and the BJP. Slogans were raised to remove the governor and save Maharashtra, remove BJP and save the country.

City President Sharek Naqshbandi said on the occasion that insult of great men of any society will not be tolerated. Tell that last month, at the convocation ceremony of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari called Shivaji Maharaj the hero of the olden days and Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari as the hero of the present. On this statement of Governor Koshyari, many parties including Shiv Sena, Congress, NCP expressed strong displeasure and demanded immediate removal of him from the post of Rajyapal. Various organizations are also protesting demanding immediate removal of the Governor.
