Polling is also being held in Jaswantnagar of Etawah, which falls in Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency. SP’s National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav cast his vote early in the morning at the polling booth of Saifai. After casting his vote, Ramgopal Yadav said that SP candidate Dimple Yadav will win three times more votes than Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) got in the general elections 2019.

The National General Secretary of SP also raised questions on the police administration regarding the Rampur by-election. He said that voters were not being allowed to cast their vote in Rampur. He accused the police of thrashing people. Ramgopal Yadav said that the SSP of Rampur is the same, who was removed from Firozabad on my complaint during the elections. These SSPs were there last time as well and are still there.
