The problems of passengers have increased due to the cancellation of two main trains of Prayagraj Sangam to Lucknow route by the Railways without any information. Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express and Bareilly Express operating from here have been canceled for three months. Yog Nagri will now start operations from March 4 and Prayagraj Sangam-Bareilly Express from March 2, 2023.
All major trains going from Sangamnagari to Lucknow, Bareilly operate from Prayagraj Sangam railway station only. Yognagari Rishikesh Express operates three days a week and Prayagraj Sangam-Bareilly runs everyday. Passengers going to Rishikesh, Haridwar, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Lucknow are very disappointed due to the cancellation of both the trains together.
Rajesh Srivastava of Jansenganj told that he had to go to Haridwar to attend a marriage ceremony. He got the reservation done in the train two months in advance. Now the message has been received that the train will be canceled on Tuesday 6th December. Said that there are fewer trains on the Lucknow-Bareilly route as compared to the Prayagraj-Kanpur-Delhi route. In such a situation, cancellation of trains of this route is beyond understanding.
Similarly, Vivek Singh of Civil Lines said that he had made reservation for Shahjahanpur in Bareilly Express. Now this train is cancelled. Nauchandi Express goes to Shahjahanpur, but its arrival time is late at night. Now reservation is also not available in that.
