Heavy rain on Thursday in Delhi-NCR has increased the problems of the people. Due to this, there was a long traffic jam due to water-logging and falling of trees in many adjoining areas including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, UP.
In Gurugram, queues of vehicles were seen for 5 km on the highway in the evening. This jam was on the way from Delhi to Jaipur on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. The Gurgaon authorities on Friday issued an advisory asking employees to work from home.
Schools closed in Noida-Greater Noida till class VIII on Friday
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR on Friday. In view of this, the administration ordered the closure of schools from nursery to class VIII in Noida and Greater Noida yesterday i.e. on 23rd September.

It has been raining for the last two days in 57 districts including Sitapur, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Lucknow, Jhansi of UP. The Meteorological Department issued yellow alert in 55 districts and orange alert in 2 for Thursday.
