Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty lit lamps on the banks of the Ganges in Kashi on Saturday evening. Shilpa Shetty, who reached Banaras on the occasion of 29 years of the release of the film Baazigar, attended the Kashi Vishwanath temple. After worshiping in Baba’s court, Shilpa reached Dashashwamedh Ghat to attend the aarti of Gangotri Seva Samiti. During this his mother was also present. Fans thronged to see Shilpa Shetty.
On Saturday evening, Shilpa Shetty worshiped Mother Ganga with five Brahmins under the leadership of Pt. Dinesh Shankar Dubey, the secretary of the institution. Expressing happiness by lighting a lamp on the banks of Maa Ganga, where one gets relief after having darshan of Maa Ganga.
On behalf of Gangotri Seva Samiti, Pt. Kishori Raman Dubey Babu Maharaj and lyricist Kanhaiya Dubey KD welcomed by giving mementos, Angavastram and Prasad. During this, many people including Ariksha Pandey, Kallu Maharaj Bunty were present. Seeing Shilpa Shetty in their midst, her fans were eager to take selfies.
Shilpa posed for a selfie respecting the audience and on the request of the fans removed the mask from her face and accepted everyone’s greetings with folded hands. Shilpa has shared a video related to her journey in her Instagram story, in which she is seen talking to her mother.
