A sensational revelation has come to light from Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. In Khoda, rickshaw puller Meelal (34) killed wife Poonam’s lover Akshay (24) by slitting his throat with an ax and then cut the body into 20 pieces. Carrying these pieces in three sacks in a rickshaw, he threw them in the bushes on the bank of a canal, one kilometer away from the house.
Two days later, on Saturday evening, when the body was found, the police interrogated Meelal on the basis of suspicion, while confessing to the crime, he told that he had called Akshay after telling Poonam and asked him to sleep in the house. Took his life while sleeping. He had already prepared the conspiracy from murder to disposal of the dead body. He doesn’t regret it.
Akshay was originally a resident of Kotputli in Rajasthan. Till a year back, he used to live in Khoda and used to pull a rickshaw. He had to come and go to Meelal’s house. Meanwhile, his closeness increased with Meelal’s wife Poonam.
Meelal is originally from Sambhal but has been living on rent in the street with Aman Banquet Hall in Som Bazar, Adarsh Nagar, Khoda for a long time. Meelal told the police during interrogation that a few days back his seven-year-old daughter Rekha had got burnt at home.
