Delhi: Japanese company Yamaha’s bikes have millions of fans in India. The company has geared up keeping in view the Indian market. Meanwhile Yamaha has updated its entire bike line-up. The company has updated the FZ-X, MT-15 and R15 bikes. Some features have also been updated with the cosmetic upgrade. The R15M is at the top of Yamaha company’s bikes. This bike has many updates according to the needs of the company. Actually, the company has designed the latest bike keeping in mind the OBD-2 standard.
Will run on 20% ethanol petrol
Bikes sold in India will run on 20% ethanol petrol by the end of 2023. That is, it will run on E20 fuel. No changes have been made to the Yamaha R15M OB2 engine. This car comes with liquid cooled, 4 stroke, SOHC, 4 valve, 155cc fuel injected engine with valve actuation system. This car generates 18.14 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 7500 rpm. This bike has been linked to 6 speed gear box. Talking about other changes, this bike gets a new TFT cluster. And it was compared to the rear LCD unit. Day and night mode has been given in the TFT screen. TFT supports Bluetooth. So the driver will get SMS and Call Alert System. However, there is no feature of turn-by-turn navigation while riding the bike.

Only One Extra Color Launched
There has been no change in the color of the bike. Only one Xtra color has been launched. The bike has LED turn indicators. Also, the bike is sleeker and sharper than before. Earlier Yamaha used to get halogen turn indicators. Also, due to being older, her look was also looking strange. But now the updated look of the bike looks attractive. The price of R15M has been increased by Rs 2500. So the price of this car has become 1,93,000 (ex-showroom). Needless to say, the increased price adds a new TFT screen and LED turn indicators.
