New Delhi: In Sanatan Dharma, there is a law to offer Prasad to the Gods and Goddesses after worship. Many people offer different types of bhog to God in Teej-festivals. It is believed that bhog must be offered while worshiping God. Only then the worship is considered complete. But while offering food to God, you should take special care of some things. Some rules of offering bhog have also been told in the scriptures, according to which by offering bhog to God they accept it. It is a religious belief that the food offered to God should be taken as Prasad and distributed among other people as well. But before that some part of it must be fed to the cow. The gods and goddesses are quickly pleased by feeding the prasad of bhog to the cow. Many people have the habit of keeping the offerings to the deities there after offering them. Rather it should not be done at all. After the puja is over, the prasad should be distributed among all the people. Because keeping God’s offerings for a long time brings negativity.

In the scriptures, from Ganesh ji, Vishnu ji, Shivji to all the gods and goddesses, it has been explained in detail. It is believed that by offering bhog to the gods and goddesses according to them, they become happy soon. But if this is not possible, then you can offer bhog with only one type of sweets, mishri etc.
