There is no Meteorological Center in Azamgarh. Due to this, the correct information about the weather is not available, and on the other hand, during the disaster, the loss of life and money is also not controlled. But now this will not happen because the government has decided to install Doppler radar for accurate weather information in the district. Soon the exercise to install it will start, with the help of the Central Meteorological Center, now the state government has decided the strategy to install Doppler radar in its district as well. Presently there is no center of Meteorological Department in the district.
Its operation was started at a low level a few days ago at the Agricultural College located in Kotwa. Due to which only information about temperature etc. could be known. At present its operation is closed due to shortage of man force. At present, the Doppler radar installed around the district is at a distance of four to five hundred km. Due to which the exact information of the district is not available.
