A ‘Run for G-20 Walkathon’ was organized on Saturday in four cities of Uttar Pradesh to spread mass awareness about the G-20 Summit to be held from February. During this, walkathons were organized in capital Lucknow including Agra, Varanasi and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the walkathon in all the four cities simultaneously at 9 am from his official residence at 5 Kalidas Marg. In his address during the flag off programme, the Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has got the opportunity to host the G-20 conference. Through this conference, we have got an opportunity to showcase the state’s image, its culture, food and digital UP at the international level.

Wide range of programs for G-20 started in the state

The Chief Minister said that with the motto of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and the resolution of One Earth, One Family, One Future, the G-20 conference is being organized in India this year. A total of 11 meetings will be held in Uttar Pradesh on different days of the G-20 conference. On the occasion of G-20 conferences, a series of programs are being started in the state on a large scale from today. Walkathon and mini marathon are being organized today. He told that a total of 11 meetings of G-20 are to be held in four cities including state capital Lucknow, this event is starting from today to ensure the participation of general public towards them.

The Chief Minister said that on this occasion, I heartily congratulate all the participants, public representatives and people of administration participating in the districts of Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra and Gautam Buddha Nagar. The country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence with enthusiasm. Along with this, we are seeing many achievements. The world is accepting the fact that in this era of global crisis, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the only successful leader who can lift the world out of crisis. The feeling that this is mine and this is yours has never belonged to India. Indian mystics have always talked about considering the whole world as one family through Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. This is the eternal thinking of India. The opportunity to highlight that thinking has come to India today. Today India has got the opportunity to chair the G-20. The G-20 are the twenty largest countries of the world, where 60 percent of the world’s population resides. He has the right to 75 percent of the trade. Also has rights over 85 percent GDP, innovation, research and patents. Today it is a matter of pride for us that India has got the leadership of this G-20 and UP has got the opportunity to host it.

Whenever there is a threat to humanity, India will be a ray of hope

The Chief Minister said that today the world is looking towards India with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Keeping in mind the spirit of One Earth, One Family, One Future, the opportunity has come to UP to translate the thoughts of Indian sages into reality. Representatives of twenty major countries of the world and representatives of 9 friendly countries will also be associated with this event. It will be a matter of pleasure for us that along with hospitality service, we are getting the opportunity to showcase the new heights of development that the country has touched. The event is to be held in Lucknow from 13 to 15 February. We will get an opportunity to showcase the kind of competence that UP has achieved in the field of technology. We need to set an excellent example of Atithi Devo Bhava. There is a need to give a message to the whole world that whenever the world is in trouble, there will be some danger on humanity, at that time, if the eyes of hope are seen somewhere, then it will be seen from the land of India. India will lead the world in that period and will work to emerge from the crisis and show a new path.

Every district should encourage its talents

The Chief Minister told that the month of February will be very important for Uttar Pradesh. UP is preparing to organize the Global Investors Summit on February 10 to 12. Every big investor and entrepreneur from all over the world and country will come here and try to associate themselves with the prosperity and potential of the state. More than 10 thousand entrepreneurs are going to come here. After this, between February 13 and 15, representatives of the G-20 will come from different sectors and Lucknow will get the opportunity to welcome them. UP will celebrate its foundation day on 24 January. Every district should be associated with these programs. Your talents should be encouraged. Those who have done anything new in every field of life should be given a platform to move forward. A series of continuous programs will start from the foundation day till February 15. All the events of the G-20 conference will continue till August.

Foundation stone laid for G-20 multi-purpose sports hall

During this, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of G-20 Multipurpose Sports Hall at KD Singh Babu Stadium at a cost of 519 lakhs. On this occasion, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak handed over the flag bearing the G-20 logo to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister flagged off the walkathon and flagged off the balloons to the KD Singh Babu Stadium. Youth sportspersons, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, civil defence, sports teachers of Basic Shiksha Parishad, Nehru Yuva Kendra and Prantiya Raksha Dal jawans, NDRF and PAC band members participated in the walkathon.
