The birthday of any scripture of any religion or sect of the world is not celebrated, the birth anniversary is celebrated, then only of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita. Because these texts have been written or compiled by some human being, whereas Geeta was born from the mouth of Shri Bhagwan himself. Geeta ji was born in the Dharma Kshetra Kurukshetra in the Vibhuti Swaroop of Shri Bhagwan in the month of Margashirsha on his favorite date Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha, this date is famous for Mokshada Ekadashi fast. Gita is a universal book, it is not for any particular country, time, religion, sect or caste, but for the entire human race, it has been said by God himself as a reason for Arjuna, that’s why anywhere in this book the word Shri Krishna is mentioned. Did not come, but Shri Bhagwan Uwach has been used, just as people of all religions drink cow’s milk after calf, similarly this Gita book is also a form of life for everyone. The mother of all the Upanishads is the cow-like Gita. The one who milks it is Gopal Shri Krishna, the great nectar-like milk that emanates from the drink of the calf in the form of Arjuna is Geetamrit. Gita teaches us the art of living life, teaches us how to live life. It can be well understood only by the example of this verse:-

Mahayogeshwar Dattatreya ji is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, his incarnation took place on the full moon day of the month of Margashirsha during the Pradosh period, hence Datta Jayanti is celebrated with great pomp on this day. On Maharishi Atri’s penance with the desire to have a son, “Datto Mayahmit Madbhagwan Sa Dattah” means I have given myself to you. Due to Vishnu saying this, Lord Vishnu incarnated as the son of Atri and was called Datta. Being the son of Atri, he is called Atreya. Due to the combination of Dutt and Atreya, his name became famous as Dattatreya. His mother’s name is Anusuiya, who is Sati Shiromani and her husband Vrat is famous all over the world. Moon was born from Brahma’s part, Durvasa from Shankar’s part and Dattatreya ji from Vishnu’s part. In this way Shri Dattatreya ji is the incarnation of Lord Shri Vishnu as the son of Atri and Anusuiya and the date of his appearance is called Shri Dattatreya Jayanti.
