Along with Varanasi, havoc of cold and fog has started in the whole of UP. The condition is that the flights are taking off, but due to bad weather, they are not able to land at the airport. The same happened with the SpiceJet flight that reached Varanasi from Mumbai on Thursday night. Due to bad weather at Babatpur airport, the aircraft was not allowed to land.

After circling in the air for about half an hour, the aircraft diverted to Mumbai. SpiceJet flight SG 201 took off from Mumbai airport and reached Babatpur airport in Varanasi at around 9.45 am. There were 108 passengers on board the aircraft. The plane was not allowed to land due to bad weather.

The flight was diverted back to Mumbai at 10:15 pm. Sadness covered the faces of the relatives of the passengers who reached the airport. According to airport officials, the plane was not allowed to land due to bad weather. The flight is now likely to reach Varanasi after midnight.
