The university has prepared a proposal of Rs 1.09 crore for the publication of rare books and manuscripts of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University. The university administration has sent a proposal for patronage to the Central Sanskrit University.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Hariram Tripathi told that rare books and manuscripts will be published by Sampurnanand Sanskrit University and Central Sanskrit University. Proposal has been sent for handwritten manuscript and 56 publications for 2022-23 and 2023-24. 1400 texts have been published from the university. About 96 thousand handwritten manuscripts collected in the Saraswati Bhavan Library since 1791 have been published. Vice Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University Prof. The proposal has been sent in collaboration with Shrinivas Varkhedi. Pro. Tripathi told that the handwritten manuscripts on Litho paper, Bhoj Patra and Taad Patra are being protected.

These rare texts exist

Vedic Literature, Grammar, Jurisprudence, Theology, Jain Philosophy, Astrology, Philosophy, Tantra Shastra, Sahitya Shastra, Ancient Indian Raj Shastra and Economics and Puranic Literature are related in the university. The publication of several issues of the world famous research magazine “Saraswati Sushma” and University Talks is also included. The gross expenditure of the texts to be printed under the said work plan, such as copying, editing, text editing, annotation-writing, appendix making, computer composing, film making, plate making, offset printing, JK, binding material, sure binding and proofreading. Estimated estimate has been presented after incorporating the expenses.
