ACP Cantt Manish Shandilya got information that the business of prostitution is going on in the guise of a spa parlor operating a few steps away from the court and orderly market post. When he raided with the police team on Friday evening, two girls and a youth were caught from the spot.
The parlor operator and the landlord escaped by dodging. The youth has been identified as Pradeep Sonkar, a resident of Chandua, Chittupur. At the same time, both the girls are residents of Shivpur and Ghazipur. The caught girls and youths were brought to the police post. Strictly interrogated here, all three revealed many secrets.
Both the girls told that the operator of the spa parlor is Sharad Gupta alias Dadu. He is originally from Kolkata. She could not tell anything about the landlord. Both told that Sharad used to maintain the register of the money received from the customer and the money spent. Cantt Inspector Prabhu Kant told that action will be taken by registering a case against the spa operator. At present the matter is being investigated.
