Brahmin organizations take out protest march in Varanasi

On the statement of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, a protest march was taken out by the Brahmin organizations of Varanasi on Sunday. The protest march in the hands of the people of the organization was to go from Durgakund to Lanka. But as soon as the yatra proceeded from Dharmasangh, the police stopped the yatra. People participating in the protest march were carrying placards in their hands.
Stop insulting Brahmins on placards, Hindustan will not tolerate insult of Brahmins, Brahmins have defied Kashi, the history of renunciation and penance is ours… as the slogans were written. After the protest march was stopped by the police, on the instructions of the convenor Colonel Ranjit Upadhyay, the Brahmins protested by sitting there with Harikirtan, chanting the name of God.
Mahant of Kaal Bhairav, Bada Ganesh temple including Kendriya Brahmin Mahasabha, Sarvajan Sanatan Party, Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha, Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Ekta Parishad, Brahmin Sevak Sangh, Rashtriya Yuva Manch also participated in the march.
