A new system has been implemented for the devotees thronging the temples of the religious city of Kashi on the occasion of New Year. From December 31 to January 1, devotees will get tableau darshan in the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Charanamrit will not be given to the devotees coming to the Sankatmochan temple for two days. Along with this, arrangements will be made for darshan of devotees from outside in Shri Ramjanaki temple.
Every year on the occasion of New Year, on 31st December and on the first day of the new year, there is a huge crowd of devotees who visit and worship in Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankatmochan Temple and other temples. Chief Executive Officer of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dr. Sunil Verma said that concrete plans are being made for the facilities and security of the devotees. Mahant of Sankatmochan Temple Prof. Vishwambhar Nath Mishra says that there is a lot of crowd in the temple on 31 December and 1 January. In terms of crowd management, this new system has been implemented only for two days.
