Fast Track Court Judge Aradhana Kushwaha sentenced Sunil to life imprisonment for killing his neighbour. The court also imposed a fine of ten thousand rupees. According to ADGC Manoj Gupta and Vadini’s advocate Devendra Pratap Singh, Gudiya Devi, a resident of Bajradiha of Bhelupur police station area, had filed a case in the police station. It was alleged that she was living on rent.

Accused Sunil also lived in the neighbourhood. On 12 April 2019, her husband Vijay was sleeping on the cot in front of the room after having dinner. In the old enmity, Sunil attacked with a knife. Bleeding hall, Vijay was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police filed the charge sheet after investigation. After listening to both the sides and perusing the documents, the court found Sunil guilty and sentenced him.
