Special Crime Branch of CBI Chandigarh, probing the paper leak case of Himachal Pradesh Constable Recruitment Examination, raided Ardali Bazar and Vindhyavasini Nagar Colony. The CBI has examined evidence related to Shiv Bahadur Singh alias SB, an active member of the Solver gang, and two of his close aides. According to highly placed sources, during the raid many important information has been received about Shiv Bahadur and his close ones and helpers. The CBI team has also seized all the evidence including the hard disk of the computer.
The Constable Recruitment Exam of Himachal Pradesh was held on 27 March 2022. The paper was leaked a day before the exam. In this case, on May 17, 2022, the UP STF arrested Shiv Bahadur Singh, a native of Mujra Kasya in Jaunpur and living in an apartment in Ardali Bazar, and his accomplice Akhilesh Yadav, a resident of Khulaspur, Karanda police station in Ghazipur, from the cantonment area of Varanasi. . In the same case, on June 13, 2022, Dendujay Jaiswar alias Pintu, a resident of Birampur under Kerakat police station in Jaunpur district, was also arrested from Police Line Crossroads in Varanasi.
