Varanasi: Biggest investment ever in PM’s parliamentary constituency, Kolkata’s company will invest seven thousand crores A to Z Counsel

The Kolkata company will invest Rs 7,000 crore in Varanasi. For this, MoU has been signed between Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPCIDA) and the company. The company has proposed to develop a private industrial township.

Mumbai-based Indian Corporation has also decided to invest Rs 1,000 crore in the district. According to the MoU signed, this company will build a warehouse and logistics park. Bharatiya Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has also made proposals for investment of Rs 500 crore. BHEL may set up a charging station in Varanasi. Some companies have shown interest in developing private industrial townships. UPCIDA Regional Manager Ashish Nath said that with the establishment of new industrial units, the production sector will touch new heights. This will increase employment. Youth and people will get employment directly and indirectly.

The process of investment is going on in every district. Different departments of Varanasi are working together. UPCIDA has so far received investment proposals worth Rs 10,000 crore.
