Bhelupur resident accused Mohd. The court convicted Swaleh and sentenced him to seven years’ rigorous imprisonment. Along with this, the court of Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption Act) Avneesh Gautam has also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000.
ADGC Mukesh Srivastava and plaintiff’s advocate Devendra Pratap Singh presented the side of the prosecution. And in this case another accused Mohd. Salim was acquitted by the court as the charges were not proved.
Accused in the court Advocates Srinath Tripathi and Rudranath Tripathi presented their side on behalf of Salim.
According to the prosecution, Bhelupur resident Mohd. Ilyas lodged an FIR on January 25, 2011 at Bhelupur police station. It was alleged that at around 8.30 pm, his son Abdullah Nasir along with his associates Parvez Akhtar, Habibur Rahman and Mohd. Tara was drinking tea with Mukhtar at the tea seller’s shop.
