IPS Vrinda Shukla, who took action against the son and daughter-in-law of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari lodged in Chitrakoot Jail, carried out the entire operation in a very secretive manner. In this campaign, he has set an example of leadership by showing himself ahead bypassing many standards.
He neither wore uniform nor used any vehicle of the police administration to catch Nikhat Bano, wife of MLA Abbas Ansari, lodged in Chitrakoot District Jail red-handed, yet he succeeded in bringing the entire operation to its end. IPS Vrinda Shukla, who came to Chitrakoot district after being transferred from Gautam Buddha Nagar about 5 months ago, has made a good inroads among the people of the district in a few days. Especially in the case of women, their sensitivity is being seen.
Recently, he disclosed the theft of 30 to 35 lakh rupees in the headmaster’s house in Rajapur within 2 days. After getting information about Bahubali MLA’s wife Nikhat meeting her husband in jail bypassing the rules in the district jail and violating the rules, she made a complete plan taking only some people of the department into confidence.
After this, along with DM Abhishek Anand, she reached the district jail in a private vehicle wearing simple normal clothes without uniform. Significantly, there was no security back and forth with both the officers.
This was the reason that the jail administration could not recognize him and exposed the whole matter in just 15-20 minutes. Full credit for this went to IPS Vrinda Shukla. In this regard, he says that it is a part of the working system.
Often DM and SP keep adopting new methods to carry out such campaigns. Information was being received about unauthorized activities going on in the jail for several days, due to which this action was taken.
