Often the name documents of the family members are not available. Henceforth, on the basis of the papers of the head of the family and with his consent, the information of wife, children and parents has been updated. Any person above 18 years can be the head of the household. According to the new procedure, the address of other members of the family will be accepted as the address of the head of the family. What is the procedure to update ‘Aadhaar’?
– The applicant will have to present the paper showing the relationship as the head of the household.
After that authorization will have to be passed on the basis of one time password coming to Kutumb Pramukh.
– Documents showing kinship can be ration card, marriage certificate, passport etc.
– Or the boat of the applicant and the head of the family should be on paper.
– If there is no document from the above, affidavit (self-declaration) of the head of the family in the prescribed sample of ‘UIDAI’ will be accepted.
– There is only facility to update the address on the existing card.

Applicants should ‘log in’ to ‘My Aadhaar’ portal.
– Select the option ‘New’.
After that, after entering the Aadhaar number of the family head, get it authorized.
– After that upload the document showing the proof of relationship with the head of the family
Pay a service charge of Rs.50.
– After that, a message will be sent to apply for the change in the Kutumb Pramukh’s address.
