UP: SP MLA Nahid Hasan appeared in court amid tight security, court complex turned into cantonment A to Z Counsel

SP MLA Nahid Hasan, lodged in Chitrakoot jail, was produced in the court amid tight security. After the hearing, the court has framed charges against the MLA in the murder case. During the production of the MLA, the court complex was converted into a cantonment. The police did not allow the litigants to enter the court.

On Tuesday, SP MLA Nahid Hasan was produced in the Additional District Sessions Court at Kairana in connection with the attack on SDO of Electricity Corporation, Nazim Ali and obstructing government work. Nahid Hasan was brought from Chitrakoot Jail to Kairana in a prisoner guard vehicle amid tight security. Government advocate Sanjay Chauhan told that the hearing was held in the court in the case of deadly attack. After the hearing, the court has framed charges against MLA Nahid Hasan.

Nazim Ali, the then SDO of the Electricity Corporation posted at Jhinjhana power station in Shamli had alleged that he was going from Jhinjhana to Sikanderpur power station on July 11, 2019. Then four people who came in a white car on the way stopped the SDO’s car and attacked them with sticks. In which the SDO was seriously injured. On behalf of the SDO, a case was registered against four unidentified miscreants at the Jhinjhana police station under the sections of obstructing government work and committing murderous attacks.

The SDO had told in his statement that on June 19, he had launched a morning raid campaign to stop electricity theft. In which case was registered against 11 electricity thieves. After the case was registered against the electricity thieves, SP MLA from Kairana Nahid Hasan called him and threatened him. After the statement of the SDO, the police had revealed the names of MLA Nahid Hasan and Jhinjhana resident Haider in the case. MLA Nahid Hasan was summoned by the court in the case.

Tight security

Police and PAC were deployed in the gate and premises of the court since morning for the production of the MLA in the court. Only after the litigants coming to the court were searched, they were allowed to go to the court. Nahid Hasan was produced in the court of Additional District Sessions Judge Surendra Kumar at around 12.30 pm. After staying on the court for about 15 minutes, the MLA was again sent to Chitrakoot Jail in a prisoner guard vehicle.

It is being told that on October 20, in the case of land fraud, SP MLA Nahid Hasan was produced in the MP MLA Court located in Kairana. At that time, thousands of supporters had gathered in the court premises. Due to which there was chaos in the court. This time strict arrangements were made by the police for the production of the MLA. No one was allowed inside the court except the advocates and staff till Nahid Hasan returned.

28 November next date

In the case of the year 2019, the next date of the MLA Nahid Hasan, who appeared in the court on the date, has been fixed as November 28. His advocate told that orders have been made to conduct the next date through video conference. He will be produced on the next date only through video conference.

Application filed in the court to keep him in the jail of the nearest district
In the old case, the advocate of MLA Nahid Hasan, who came from Chitrakoot Jail to appear in the court at Kairana, filed an application in the court. In which, citing the health of the MLA, he has demanded from the court that the MLA should be kept in the jail of the nearest district. Because the health of the MLA is not good. Chitrakoot Jail is far away. Due to which MLA Nahid Hasan is facing problem in commuting. The court has sought information about the health of MLA Nahid Hasan from Chitrakoot Jail.
