Pushpendra Singh of Sangam Nagri passed out from Officers Training Academy Gaya and became a lieutenant in the Indian Army. Abubakar Pur Pritam Nagar resident Pushpendra is the third generation of his family who will now serve the Indian Army. His father Upendra Singh is posted as Warrant Officer in Air Force Andaman Nicobar.

Pushpendra’s grandfather Subedar Major Vijay Narayan Singh has also retired from the Indian Army. Pushpendra’s father Upendra Singh and mother Pratima Singh also participated in the passing out parade organized in Gaya on December 10. Presently Pushpendra has gone to Jammu to seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. In a phone conversation, Pushpendra told that he had a desire to join the army since childhood.

Said that he should go to the army, for this his mother Pratima also took special care of him, even she left her job. 22-year-old Pushpendra, a B Tech graduate, gave the credit of his success to his mother.

Pushpendra told that his younger brother Gyanendra is also an engineering student. Where he was selected through SSB in the year 2018. Then a total of 90 people were called on the basis of merit. A total of 67 cadets participated in the passing out parade after 4 years of training.
