Kaushambi police arrested Mirzapur’s ambulance driver in an encounter who was accused of forcibly converting and killing a girl living in a live-in relationship for opposing it. After this, the Kaushambi police reached his official residence in Mirzapur on Thursday and collected evidence by investigating with the forensic team. The ambulance driver killed his female companion in the government residence itself.
Former resident of Mirdahan of Mahevaghat Kotwali area of Kaushambi. Arif has been posted at Gursandi Primary Health Center in Mirzapur for the last two years as the driver of 108 ambulances. He was living here in a live-in relationship with Chanda Singh (35) of Mau district. The ambulance driver is married. He kept Chanda in a rented house in Kaushambi. While he himself lived in the government residence found in Gursandi PHC of Mirzapur.

Chanda used to come to Mirzapur. He had brought Chanda a week ago. Told his companions that she was his wife. He has got blood cancer.
