According to a report, in the year 2019, the Growth State Value Addition (GSVA) of UP in the auto industry was one and a half billion dollars, which can be increased to five billion dollars in the next five years. For the development of the industry here, 9 to 10 thousand acres of land will be required in western and central UP, for this the Yogi government will spend 19 to 20 billion dollars. At the same time, auto parts with electric vehicles made here will be supplied to UK, USA, Australia and South Asia. Actually, the demand for two and three wheeler electric vehicles and batteries is very high there.
Suitable for Western UP Large and Central UP MSME Industry
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the meeting that large and MSME industry has an important role in the auto industry and both these industries are already established in sufficient quantity in western and central UP. Along with this, there is also an expressway for the export of equipment of these industries. At the same time, to promote exports, the Easton Dedicated Freight Corridor can be easily developed here and connected to the expressway. The Yogi government has selected Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Hapur, Kanpur Nagar and Meerut for the construction of large industries to promote the auto industry, while Agra, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Prayagraj, Saharanpur and To promote the MSME industry. Etawah has been selected. Adequate resources are already available here to develop Western UP as an original equipment manufacturing belt to make the state a one trillion dollar economy. Along with this, the EV charging network will have to be increased in the state. CM Yogi asked the officials to pay attention to this. The electric auto industry focuses on product design, research, and EV charging. Battery, battery chemical, cell manufacturing, fuel and welding have an important role in this. In such a situation, casting, welding machine operator, electric vehicle assemble technician along with heat treatment technician will be most needed. Maximum employment will be available on these posts. Regarding this, it has been said in the survey report that in the year 2017, 60 to 70 thousand people got employment in this sector, whereas due to its growth, 90 thousand to 1.10 lakh jobs will be available every year in the next five years.
EV parts will be supplied abroad
CM Yogi said that two and three EV vehicles and EV parts made in Central and Western will be supplied to UK, USA, Australia, South Asia. These countries are most favorable for the supply of EVs and EV parts.
