Lucknow: The target of construction of 8 lakh 62 thousand 767 houses has been given to Uttar Pradesh by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India in the year 2022-23, out of which 7 lakh 15 thousand housing beneficiaries have been sent to the allotment districts. The process of approval of houses is being done by the districts. So far the process of approval of 2.58 lakh houses has been completed. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has given clear instructions that the houses sent to all the eligible beneficiaries should be approved before January 10, 2022. He has said that it should be ensured that this work is done on top priority with full seriousness and sensitivity.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has given instructions for immediate approval of houses with complete transparency. The Deputy Chief Minister has also given instructions to take strict action against the guilty officers and employees who do not approve the houses on time and deprive the eligible beneficiaries of their rights. These instructions were given by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in a high-level meeting.

Principal Secretary Rural Development Himanshu Kumar and Commissioner Rural Development G. s. Priyadarshi said that instructions have been given to the concerned officers of the districts to give approval of houses to the beneficiaries in a timely and quick manner. Instructions have also been given to send the information about allotment and approval to the headquarters immediately. Any kind of negligence in this work will not be forgivable.
