On the lines of Hunar Haat, every exhibition of local products manufactured in Gorakhpur district will be held at the Kachari Club. With this, local products will get regular market. Along with this, people will be able to get information about local products. State Finance, Parliamentary Affairs and District In-charge Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has given instructions to Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) Vice President Mahendra Singh Tanwar regarding this.
While presiding over the meeting of Udyog Bandhu, which was held at Circuit House from 9 pm, the minister in-charge, who came on a two-day tour, said that every problem of the entrepreneurs would be resolved. Said to prepare shops for local products in GDA Court Club, where exhibition of major products will be organized every month.
SK Aggarwal, former president of the Chamber of Industries, talked about providing space for the promotion of local products. He demanded construction of a flatted factory on the lines of Gida to promote readymade garments on about 30,000 square feet land of the Handloom Department in the Industrial Estate. The minister said on this that a meeting will be held with the people associated with it.
Meanwhile, the new textile policy of the state government was also discussed. On behalf of the entrepreneurs, it was said that in this, such entrepreneurs, whose unit will provide employment to less than 50 people, have a rule of 15 percent exemption, while those who create more employment than this, 35 percent. SK Aggarwal raised the demand for increasing the exemption limit from 15 to 25 percent for small entrepreneurs. The minister asked the entrepreneurs to submit representations.
On the minister’s question, the entrepreneurs informed that Udyog Bandhu meetings are held on time. After this, he also inquired about the availability of electricity. Entrepreneurs Ramashankar Shukla, Aditya Jaiswal, DM Krishna Karunesh, SSP Dr Gaurav Grover, Municipal Commissioner Avinash Singh, GDA Vice President Mahendra Singh Tanwar, GIDA CEO Pawan Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner Industries Gaurav Mishra etc were present on the occasion.
