UP: CM Yogi will lay the foundation stone of Gorakhpur's first sixlane flyover tomorrow, will gift four projects


For smooth traffic, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of the city’s first six-lane flyover on December 4. Along with this, he will also give the gift of four lane roads. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone of four major projects worth Rs 950 crore in a program organized on Sunday at Digvijaynath Park located on the banks of Ramgarhtal.

To get rid of the problem of jam in the metropolis and to improve the road traffic in the outer part, the Chief Minister had directed to make a proposal for a six-lane flyover from Transport Nagar to Padleganj. In this project, Deoria bypass is also to be connected with four lane flyover. Both have been approved. Work on this will be started after the foundation stone is laid.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the widening and strengthening work of Deoria Bypass at a cost of Rs.

Similarly, the CM will also lay the foundation stone of the project related to blocked, converted and purified Katania/Mahewa drain falling into Rapti river. The cost of this project is Rs 53.03 crore. After the completion of this project, dirty water will not fall in Rapti river, due to which the river will be saved from pollution.

Efforts to create an environment for civic elections through an enlightened conference

The Chief Minister will also try to create an atmosphere in favor of the BJP in the local body elections through an enlightened conference organized from 3 pm on December 4 itself. The party has made massive preparations regarding the Prabuddha Sammelan.

Founder’s Week Celebrations Begin

On December 4 at 10 am, the Chief Minister will be present to give blessings on the inauguration of the founder week celebrations of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad. At 2 pm, the Chief Minister will encourage the players by participating in the closing ceremony of Mahant Avedyanath Smriti All India Prize Money Kabaddi Competition, going on at the Regional Stadium.

CM will also go to Geeta Press

The CM also has a program to visit Geeta Press on December 4. He will attend the Geeta Jayanti function as the chief guest at 5 pm.

Vehicles will not go towards Digvijaynath Park tomorrow

Route diversion has been issued for vehicles from 12 noon to 6 pm due to the Prabuddha Varg Sammelan to be held at Mahant Digvijaynath Park on December 4.

Vehicles will not go on these routes

  • All vehicles except the vehicles coming in the program from Transformer Tiraha will be banned.
  • All types of vehicles will be prohibited except the vehicles coming for the program from Padleganj Square.
