Chandauli’s ghee businessman Prasun Kesari, who had come to attend the wedding ceremony, was picked up by the ATS from a hotel on Thursday afternoon. After this, Prasun’s sister informed the police about the abduction. Since the ATS did not involve the local police in the action, it also got into trouble.
On Friday, 24 hours after the abduction was reported, the police were able to confirm that the businessman had not been abducted, but had been taken away by the ATS to investigate a case. It is being told that the murder of Congress leader Sanju in Chhattisgarh is being linked to businessman Prasun. The role of terrorist organization in Sanju’s murder also came to the fore. For this reason, ATS is investigating this matter.
Prasun Kesari alias Primesh, resident of Rampur, located in Mughalsarai police station area of Chandauli district, is a businessman of vanaspati ghee. Prasun had come to Gorakhpur on Thursday along with his sister Sanchita and brother-in-law to attend the wedding of a relative of Prayagraj. All three stayed in a hotel located in Vikas Nagar of Gorakhnath area.
Prasoon left the hotel at 1 pm on Thursday and returned at 3 pm. Some people reached the hotel at 4:30 pm and took Prasun away. After this, Prasun’s sister informed the police about the kidnapping. After this SP City reached the spot. Crime Branch and SOG were also involved in the investigation.
The SSP contacted the police of the surrounding districts, but could not get any information. On the other hand, the police took out the CDR after taking information about Prasun’s mobile number. After this, most of the locations till Thursday were found between the railway station to Gorakhnath tower. After getting information from other sources, it was learned on Friday afternoon that Prasun was picked up by ATS and taken to Lucknow.
