Khansame, a car rider of Mau MLA Abbas Ansari, lodged in Chitrakoot Jail, created a lot of ruckus on Thursday night. Khansame, who was driving a car under the influence of alcohol, hit four parked bikes and a car parked in front of the hotel. While seizing the vehicle, the police arrested him and sent him to jail. The incident happened around 9 pm. A white colored Endeavor car rammed four bikes parked in front of Hotel Pride Inn, located behind Bank of Baroda in Civil Lines. A car with a West Bengal registration number was also hit and damaged.
It is a matter of honor that during this time no one was present there, due to which there was no loss of life. Here, after hitting the bike, the uncontrolled car collided with the electric pole. When the people around caught hold of the driver, he was found intoxicated. On information, the Civil Lines police reached and brought the driver along with the car to the police station. In the investigation here, it was found that the car belongs to Abbas Ansari, MLA son of mafia Mukhtar Ansari.
During interrogation, the accused driver told that his name is Ritesh Singh and he is a resident of Ithunwa police station Fakarpur in Bahraich. It was also told that he has been working as a cook at Abbas’s house for the last two-three years. He told that he had gone out to eat Biryani at night and during this time this accident happened. In the night, a case was registered against the accused on the Tahrir of SI Ajit Singh, in-charge of Civil Lines post. After this he was arrested. Civil Lines Inspector Virendra Singh Yadav said that the accused has been sent to jail with the permission of the court. Also the vehicle has been seized.
The family had reached to meet Abbas According to sources, during interrogation, the accused told that he lives in Delhi and at present had come to Prayagraj with Nikhat, wife of Abbas. He said that Abbas was lodged in Chitrakoot Jail and the family had come to Prayagraj to meet him and stayed in a flat in Civil Lines.
