Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra reached Buxar on Sunday and offered prayers at Siddhapeeth Chandrika Devi temple. He distributed Prasad of Bhandara and presented blankets to the needy.

After getting the service extension, on the first day of the new year, the Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh Durgashankar reached Buxar along with the Mishra family. He visited the Siddhapeeth. During this, Aarti of Mata was performed and Prasad was offered. Due to the fog, he reached the guest house with the family at 11:20 am, about an hour late from the scheduled time. After staying here for some time, worshiped in the temple. He stayed in the temple with the family for about an hour.

Talking to the media, the Chief Secretary said that administrative responsibility is also a part of religion. He described the preparations of the central and state government regarding Kovid as the best in the world. During this, he appealed to everyone to automatically follow the Covid guidelines. Apart from Regional MLA Ashutosh Shukla, DM Apoorva Dubey, SP Siddharth Shankar Meena, besides many officers of Unnao and Fatehpur districts were present.

On being informed, the police left many people on the spot. Keeping the formalities, four people were taken into custody and even before giving Tahrir, the quorum of action for breach of peace was completed against them.
