Chandauli’s Priyanshu Pandey won the bronze medal on Thursday in the Under-17 National Wrestling Competition held in Rohtak, Haryana. Priyanshu Pandey represented UP in the 45 kg weight category. Priyanshu has won this medal in Greco-Roman freestyle wrestling. There is a wave of happiness among the family members due to this performance of Priyanshu.

National level wrestling competition was organized under Khelo India in Rohtak by Wrestling Federation of India. Priyanshu Pandey, son of Vinod Kumar Pandey, resident of Alinagar Ward No. 16, is currently learning wrestling tricks under the supervision of coach Kamlesh Yadav at Saifai Hostel.
