Shortly after the incident in the Umesh Pal murder case, the police picked up Atiq Ahmed’s two sons Asad and Ahjam. The interrogation continued by taking them to a secret place. Apart from this, two of his friends and three other people were also detained and interrogated. The police also interrogated Shaista Parveen. In fact, according to sources, seeing one of the attackers in the CCTV footage released after the incident, the needle of suspicion in this murder case is most on Atiq Ahmed.
After this, the police raided and picked up Atiq’s two sons Asad and Ahjam. Asad is the third, while Ahjam is the fourth son of Atiq. He was taken to a secret location and continued to be interrogated. On the other hand, two of his friends were also detained by the police. Apart from this, three other youths of Mahila Gram area were also picked up from whom the police continued to interrogate till late night.
