Two people died due to drowning in two separate incidents in UP’s Ballia district on Monday. A youth and a child are among those who drowned. A girl child was saved there. The first incident is of Shri Nath Baba Sarovar. A young man died due to drowning here. The family members of the youth were shocked by the news of the accident. The wife of the deceased had observed Chhath fast.

In the Chhath Puja in Shri Nath Sarovar, the NAPA Chairman had taken a contract to decorate the boat in the water. In the same contract, Sanjay Kumar, 40 son Budhram, resident of Sant Ravidas Nagar, ward number one of the city, was working. When the boat was ready, he was also pulling the boat on the day of Chhath Puja. While pulling the boat, Sanjay’s leg slipped due to which he went into deep water and drowned.

On information, the police took out Sanjay with the help of the seafarers. He was brought to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. On hearing this news, the family reached the hospital crying. The wife of the deceased Lalsa Devi was also a fasting of Chhath. She also went home from Shri Nath Sarovar after performing Chhath Puja.

Little did she know that the body of her husband would be found in the same lake where she was worshiping for the good wishes of herself and the family. She kept crying and saying that the honeymoon got ruined on the day of Chhath itself. Sanjay’s brother Vinod Kumar gave a complaint at the police station and demanded action against the chairman’s representative.

On Monday morning at Taria Pokhara located in Tilkari area of ​​Nagra area, two girls, who went to ask for prasad, started drowning in deep water after slipping their feet. The villagers took both of them out of the water and took them to the hospital, where the doctor declared a girl dead. The deceased was identified as Saloni (8), a resident of Tilkari Nat Basti.

Three women, including a girl from the same family, got scorched during fireworks while worshiping Lord Surya at Shrinath Baba Sarovar on Monday morning. Gyanati Devi (60) resident of Bania Dam of the town, late Brijbhan Singh, Ruby Singh (35) wife Dinesh Singh, Pushpa Singh (45) daughter Kailash Singh and Ruhi Singh (07) daughter Dinesh Singh Shri Nath Baba sitting on the ghat of Sarovar.
