New Delhi: This second day of the 11th month of the year is recorded in history as the birthday of Shahrukh Khan, considered the Romance King of Bollywood. Born on 2 November 1965 in Delhi, Shah Rukh turned to films after making his mark on television with serials and his first film on the silver screen was “Deewana”.

Apart from playing negative roles in a few films like ‘Darr’, ‘Anzaam’ and ‘Baazigar’, Shah Rukh is mostly known for his love based characters. Be it light-hearted films like ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’ and ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’, ‘Duplicate’ or soulful films like ‘Devdas’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘My Name is Khan’ and ‘Chak De India’, Shah Rukh He breathed life into every character with his best performance.

He also performed the role of crime gangster in films like ‘Raees’ and ‘Don’. Shah Rukh Khan has been one of the most popular and heartfelt actors of Hindi cinema for more than three decades, expressing all kinds of expressions with great ease with his face.
