Threat to the economy due to backlogs; serious inspection of court's indifferent attitude of banks

M. Ta. Special Representative, Mumbai: ‘Nationalised and Public Sector Banks; Also the officers of such banks are meant to be on duty. Only, due to the apathetic attitude of the officers, the country’s economy is at risk, such apologies have to be made,’ such a serious observation has been made by the Bombay High Court on behalf of the Bank of India (BOI).

Nationalized banks keep the expectation that the courts should protect the interests of the people. Only, such bank officials are working for the people and dealing with people’s money, or are insensitive about the facts. Such bank courts do not accept land. O Thambayla Hawe and such bank officials, take action against the employees and make them responsible. The time has come to make the banks aware that due to their apathetic business there is a huge loss of public money,’ the judge said. Of. R. Shriram and Ny. Kamal Khatla’s division bench ‘BOI’ filed the appeal and mentioned its orders.

The BOI would have appealed against the order of the lower court on 9th November 2020 regarding employment in a commercial transaction case.
