Wildlife abundance The dream of taking a walk in this forest range and watching wildlife is going to come true today. The lap nature of Amangarh is full of trees and plants and beautiful wildlife. Talking about the area, the area of Amangarh is more than one lakh bighas of land. Before the formation of Uttarakhand, it used to be the buffer zone of Jim Corbett National Park. It itself boasts of wildlife, hundreds of species of birds, flora.
27 tigers and more than a hundred elephants are the center of attraction
Every wildlife is present in Amangarh Forest Range, to see which people go to Corbett Park after spending thousands of rupees. There are 27 tigers and more than a hundred elephants. Apart from this, creatures like bear, guldar, pangolin, python are also visible. Dozens of herds of chital and deer are seen here.

rare species of hyena found
White striped hyenas were also found near the area of Amangarh. These are of rare species. I didn’t even know about their existence before. Two years ago, a hyena was killed after being hit by a vehicle. Then for the first time hyena was found to be there. A few days later, a hyena attacked the farmers as well and the farmers killed it.
DM Umesh Mishra said that starting of tourism in Amangarh is a big achievement for the district. This will also give recognition to the historical and mythological heritage of the district and the entire Bijnor will establish a distinct identity on the tourism map. People will come to Bijnor to see all the places including Ganga Barrage Bijnor, Vidurkuti, Mordhwaj Fort, Pathargarh Fort, Malan.

DFO Dr. Anil Patel told that we have completed preparations to start tourism. Roads, gates are ready. Along with this, some alternative arrangements have also been made outside the forest. Tomorrow the first group of tourists will be given entry into the forest. He said that fees etc. have also been fixed.
DM inspected, instructed to get the work done fast
A day before the start of tourism in Amangarh, DM Umesh Mishra visited Kehripur and took stock of the preparations being done there. The DM directed the concerned departments to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them. Earlier, the DM told in detail about the efforts of tourism in Amangarh by holding a press conference. On Monday evening, the DM arrived to inspect the Amangarh Tiger Reserve area. DM instructed DFO Dr. Anil Patel to complete all the preparations related to starting tourism in Amangarh Tiger Range on Tuesday. Instructions were also given to prepare an action plan for the quality of all the necessary arrangements for tourists, clean drinking water, suitable place for stay and rest etc.
