Godhra: After the Grodhra massacre in Gujarat in 2002, there were riots in many places in the state, in which many people would have been killed. In the murder case, a court acquitted 22 accused. Or 17 people from riotous minority community would have been killed. Of the 22 people who were acquitted by the court, 8 of them died during the trial.
17 people including two children would have been murdered in Delol village of Panchmahal district. In this case, Justice Harsh Trivedi acquitted him of the charges of murder of 22 people and destruction of evidence. Or Khatlyache hearing would have started after 18 years.

At Godhra in Panchmahal district, Sabarmati Express used to light a cauldron on fire. Otherwise 59 people would have died. Or after the incident, riots took place at various places in the state. It is not the first time that the accused in many minor riots that took place in the state have been acquitted. Many or half of the old absentees have been released from the 2002 riots in Gujarat.
