Navnath Dhawale, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-2 Bhiwandi said, “Action will be taken if storage of urea is found illegal.” Significantly, urea is widely used as a fertilizer in the agriculture sector.

According to the official, the police had seized urea by raiding the godown at Purna in Bhiwandi town on Tuesday after receiving a tip-off that urea was being stored illegally. Currently, the samples of the seized urea have been sent to Nashik for testing.
