Thane. A 57-year-old police sub-inspector died after falling from a local train at Kalwa station in Maharashtra’s Thane district. Manoj Bhosale, a sub-inspector attached to Powai police station, died after a fall while alighting from the train at Kalwa station on Friday night, an official of the Thane Railway Police Station said on Sunday.
The body has been sent to the government hospital for postmortem, he said. The Thane Railway Police has just registered a case of accidental death and the incident is being probed, the official said.
