New Delhi: The northern and eastern parts of the country were covered with cold on Sunday. The minimum temperature in Delhi and other states fell by 1.9 degree Celsius. That’s why the wild animals in the zoological museum are seen to be in knots. In order to protect the animals from cold background, heaters and blankets have been arranged in the cages. Similarly, the zoological museum administration has kept animals in the cages of tigers, lions and horses. Vishnukant Mishra, director of the zoological museum, told that due to the cold of Kadakya, the diet of animals and birds has been changed.

We have kept hitters and blankets in many cages. So that the temperature of the animal’s body remains in a suitable condition. Also, animals are given more protein and fatty diet. Temperatures of 2.8 degrees, 2.6 degrees, 2.2 degrees and 2.8 degrees Celsius respectively were recorded at the weather stations in Delhi including Lodhi Road, Ayanagar, Ridge and Jafarpur.
